(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with alcohol related offences.
On December 13, 2014 at approximately 7:15 p.m. an OPP officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle being operated on Kawartha Lakes Road 21 without lights. The ensuing vehicle stop resulted in the officer determining that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
Stuart KEELER, 55 years of age, of Trent Lakes, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and having care and control of a motor vehicle while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on February 4, 2015.
