On Thursday afternoon two separate motorists contacted the Barrie Police Service in regards to a possible impaired driver on Mapleview Drive East in the Huronia Road area. An officer on general patrol located the vehicle and driver. After a short roadside investigation the officer arrested a 42 year old male for impaired care/control. The accused was taken to the police station for a breath test, where he provided two samples of 170mgs. The accused was charged and later released by way of a promise to appear.
