Drugs Seized

(Goderich, ON.) – On May 26th, 2009 members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Huron County Detachment and Western Region Emergency Response Team, conducted an investigation and as a result executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence on Park Street, in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the warrant, police located a quantity of cannabis marihuana worth an estimated potential street value of $1,060.00. Police also seized items associated to drug trafficking.

3 Goderich residents, one adult male and one adult female were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. A young offender was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. All three will appear on later dates at the Ontario Court of Justice-Goderich, Ontario.
