(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On Saturday October 19, 2013 at approximately 1:42 am Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Highway 6 at College Avenue in the City of Guelph. The driver of a 2004 Ford Mustang entered into the checkpoint. During the investigation, police located a small quantity of marihuana.
Andrew HAYNES age 21 of Fergus has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 26, 2013 to answer to the charges.
