(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On September 20, 2014 at approximately 7:50 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 124 and Sixth Line, Town of Erin, Wellington Township.
Police spoke with a male driving a black Ford Ranger and observed marihuana in the vehicle. The male was arrested and 41 grams were seized.
Justin RUTLEDGE aged 18 of Bradford, has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Over 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He has also been charged with Possession of Cannabis Resin Over 1 Gram as well as a third charge of Possession of a Schedule II Substance . RUTLEDGE is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court to answer to the charges.
