(TILLSONBURG, ON) – On April 10, 2014 members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and Oxford County detachment members executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at 117 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg at approximately 10:54 p.m.
As a result of the investigation the following items were seized:
Cocaine
Cannabis Marihuana Bud
OxyNeo
Canadian currency
4 firearms
Firearms Licence
A variety of ammunition
1990 GMC Sonoma
The approximate value of the drugs seized is $3,480.
Charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act are:
Perry WOOD, male, 25 years of age, of Tillsonburg, ON
Trafficking Schedule I substance – Cocaine
Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – under 3 kilograms x 2
Possession of a Schedule I substance – Other drugs
Possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Darryl PORCHAK, male, 33 years of age, of Tillsonburg, ON
Possession of a schedule I substance – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Marihuana – over 30 grams
Both males were held for a bail hearing at Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
