(TWEED, ON) – On January 7, 2014 at 12 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Central Hastings Detachment executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant at a residence on Fuller Road in the Municipality of Tweed.
Investigators seized over 10 500 grams of marihuana bud, over 20 000 grams of marihuana shake, 20.5 grams of cannabis resin as well as 10 marihuana plants. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of over $129 000.
As a result 32 year old Timmothy CAMMACK and 67 year old Keith CAMMACK both of Tweed, ON were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cannabis Resin and Production of Cannabis Resin. Timmothy CAMMACK faces an additional charge of Careless Storage of a Firearm.
Both will appear in Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville on February 13, 2014.
