(TYENDINAGA, ON) – On the morning of October 7, 2014 the Tyendinaga Police Service, assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau-Drug Enforcement Unit, and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on North Church Lane in Tyendinaga Territory.
As a result of the search warrant, police seized 88 pounds of cannabis marihuana bud, 57 pounds of cannabis marihuana shake, 75 grams of hashish, and 144 mature marihuana plants. The street value of the seizure is estimated at $298,318.
