(PARRY SOUND, ON) – On December 12, 2013 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau North Bay Drug Enforcement Unit supported by the West Parry Sound detachment of the OPP arrested 3 Parry Sound males for drug trafficking offences.
At approximately 11:08 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 400 for the purposes of an investigation into drug trafficking. All three occupants were arrested and searched. Police found crack cocaine in the vehicle and on the occupants.
Blake ATWELL 43 years of age was charged with the following:
– Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to the CDSA)
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
John ARGYROPOULOS 22 years of age was charged with the following:
– Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to the CDSA)
Donald BLACKLOCK 46 years of age was charged with the following:
– Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to the CDSA)
– Drive motor Vehicle – No Licence, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
All three individuals have been held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound
