(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 1, 2014 at approximately 1:48 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling the Town of Fergus and stopped a 2000 Chrysler on St. Andrew Street. Police spoke with the male driver and an odour of marihuana was detected coming from the inside of the vehicle. Marihuana was seized and the driver was arrested.
John DIPISA age 19 of Centre Wellington Township has been charged with Possession of Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on April 8, 2014 to answer to the charge.
