(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Street Crime unit of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male with a drug related offence over the weekend.
On the 28th of June 2014 at approximately 2:45am, officers on patrol were investigating two males on Hurontario Street when it was found that one of them was in possession of a small amount of marihuana. As a result, he was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 29 year-old Tyler GARBUTT of Collingwood, he is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor License Act. He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 22nd of July 2014.
