(TILLSONBURG, ON) – On Thursday, September 8, 2016 the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Frank Street in Tillsonburg regarding a wellbeing check and possible drug activity.
As a result of the investigation, one (1) male suspect and one (1) female suspect has been arrested. Approximately $2,400 in Canadian currency and an estimated $9,500 in cannabis marihuana, and psilocybin were seized.
19-year-old Alissa EDEN of Tillsonburg was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Over 3 kilograms
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
21-year-old Joey KLASSEN of Tillsonburg was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Over 3 kilograms
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
Both parties were released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on September 27, 2016.
