(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On June 18, 2015 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers performed a traffic stop and assisted Waterloo Regional Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit with an ongoing investigation. Two males and a female were arrested on Elora Street, Harriston. Officers seized a loaded semi-automatic handgun, a large quantity of methamphetamine, heroin, Gamma hydroxybutyrate, Canadian currency, and two motor vehicles. A 27 year old Kitchener male and a 25 year old Walkerton female were taken in to custody by Waterloo Regional Police Service. They will appear in Kitchener court on Friday June 19, 2015 and are charged with firearm and drug offences. The other male was released unconditionally.
