(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Highway Safety Division (HSD) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a westbound vehicle on Sherbrooke Street West last night just after 7:00pm. The driver attempted to flee and parked his vehicle behind a private residence.
Devin COWIE (age 44) of Lindsay, ON was arrested and charged with numerous Provincial Offences:
Speeding 109km/h in an 80km/h zone
Fail to Stop for Police
Driving with an Open Container of Liquor
The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on July 27, 2015.
