On Saturday May 22, 2016 at approximately 3:30 pm a family of 5 was riding their bicycles in the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Hyde Park Road. An argument ensued with a motorist and the father of the family. The motorist displayed a handgun where he was eventually disarmed. London Police Service officers attended the area in an emergency capacity and were able to arrest the motorist.
Marco Morlani (24 years old) is charged with uttering threats and a number of weapons offences.
The handgun was determined to be an air pistol commonly referred to as a BB gun.
The London Police Service would like to remind citizens that although these guns are legal to possess, the manner in which they are used could lead to criminal charges.
