(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 30, 2015, just before 9:00 p.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a Honda car, on Highway 401 westbound near Comber, for exceeding the posted speed limit of 100 km/hr. The 25 year old driver from Mississauga, Gammada ABDULLAHI , was charged with Speeding.
Later that evening, just after 1:00 a.m., on January 31, 2015, the same driver and vehicle were involved in a single vehicle collision on Highway 401 eastbound, near Orford Road. The collision occurred when the vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in the south ditch. As a result, the driver was charged with Careless Driving.
No injuries were reported.
