(NAPANEE, ON)- On Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 9:35 p.m. officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a traffic complaint on Old Highway 2, Tyendinaga Township.
An off-duty police officer reported a silver Dodge Caravan travelling eastbound being driven erratically.
Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver for Impaired Driving by Drug. Police seized 9 grams of cocaine, a marihuana cigarette, two hydromorphone pills, and 2 clonazepam pills from within the vehicle.
Charged with Impaired Driving by Drug, three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach of Probation is 24 year-old Rosario D’AMORE of Kingston.
D’Amore was released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee on November 4th.
