(HALIBURTON, ON) – On March 10, 2014 Haliburton Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2010 Hyundai vehicle for speeding on Highway 35 just north of the City of Kawartha Lakes boundary in the township of Minden Hills Ontario. The keen eyed OPP officer observed marihuana in plain view inside the vehicle. All four male occupants from Aurora Ontario were subsequently arrested. The officer located a quantity of marihuana and related drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle Dylan WOYSLAW age 20 was charged with speeding 106 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana. The three male passengers; Drew BRYAN age 18, Ryan HUGHES age 19 and John MCEACHERN age 20 were also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana.
The males are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden Ontario on May 07, 2014.
