(HOWICK, ON) – A traffic stop on Harriston Road near Belmore Line has led to 3 day driver’s licence suspension and a failure to wear a seatbelt ticket for a 65 year old male from Howick. At about 5:15 p.m. on September 20, 2013 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed the driver of a Ford F-150 failing to wear his seatbelt.
Upon speaking with the driver it was noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension.
The 65 year old driver from Howick was issued a 3 day driver’s licence suspension and a ticket for failing to wear a seatbelt.
