(Otonabee South Monaghan Township) – On Saturday November 1, 2014, at approximately 4n p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP where called to investigate a collision on Bensfort Road.
Upon arriving at the scene officers investigated a single motor vehicle collision on Bensfort Road at County Road 2. The vehicle had overshot the intersection and entered a dich at the side of the road. The driver was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and was treated and released for minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation the vehicle driver , 27 year old Corey PINK of the City of Peterborough was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation and Having over 80 mgs of Alcohol in his blood.
PINK was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on December 18, 2014.
