Dougal REGINALD: Drunk Driving

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) check at Cockshutt Road and River Road in the County of Brant on December 7, 2014.

At approximately 2:33 a.m. officers observed a vehicle turn around to avoid the R.I.D.E. check. Officers stopped the male driver and vehicle. While the officer was talking to the driver, he could smell the odour of alcohol. The officer gave the driver the Roadside Screening Test, and as a result of the test the male driver was transported to the Brantford City Police Services for Intoxilyzer Tests.

Dougal REGINALD 29 years of age from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation is facing the following criminal charge

Drive Over 80 mgs of Blood Alcohol Content

The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on December 19, 2014 to answer to the charge.
