(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Thursday December 10, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to the new public school under construction at 950 Binning St. W. in Listowel, where a break-in was discovered.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 5:15 p.m. Wednesday December 09, 2015 and 6 a.m. Thursday December 10, 2015, unknown suspects entered the new school by kicking in a door located on the north side of the building.
Once entry into the building was gained, the culprits removed a number of DeWalt power tools. The tools removed included a metal cutting saw, and the following cordless tools; a band saw, hammer drill, and grinder. The total value of the stolen tools is approximately $1,500
