Donald Littlechild Added To Hall of Shame: Methamphetamine, Trafficking

MALE ATTEMPTS TO DISCARD DRUGS AT R.I.D.E STOP

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have charged a 47 year old male with drug trafficking and failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance following a traffic stop. At 9:23 p.m. on June 1, 2013 a Pontiac Aztek towing a Polaris ATV entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at the intersection of Black’s Point Road and Orchard Line.

Officers completed a driver’s licence and records check on the male ATV driver. It was learned the male was currently bound to abide by a court imposed curfew. Officers determined the male was failing to comply with this condition and ordered the male off the machine. Upon doing so the male attempted to toss away a bag of drugs he possessing. Officers were able to retrieve the bag of suspected methamphetamine from the ditch. Officers searched the male incident to arrest and located a large quantity of cash along with the drugs.

As a result, Donald LITTLECHILD, 47, from Central Huron has been charged with Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and three counts of Fail to Comply with a Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code. He remains in custody.
