Adam Malhiot – Drunk Driving

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – On May 30, 2013 just before 11:00 p.m. a brown Grand Prix entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint set up at the intersection of Brandon Road and Clyde Line. The officer spoke with the driver and detected the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening test was completed which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both over the legal limit.

Adam MALHIOT, 23, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on June 24, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
