(Bancroft, Ontario) At approximately 10:35 p.m. on Saturday the 05th of October 2013, an Officer from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a pickup truck stopped along Highway 62 in the Town of Bancroft. The Officers stopped at the location and found that the truck was against a stop sign. The male driver of the truck was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Bancroft OPP detachment.
70 year old Donald BROWN of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. Mr. BROWN was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear on the 12th of November 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario.
