Police received a 911 hang-up from a cellular phone in the early hours of Saturday morning. Upon locating subscriber information and a home address, officers attended the east end residence to check on the well-being of the caller.
When officers arrived they found a male and female that had been involved in a domestic assault and learned that the 24 year old female attacked her boyfriend with a kitchen knife. The male received a small puncture wound to his chest and managed to push the female away to call 911. He did not require medical attention.
Officers arrested the female for assault with a weapon and failing to comply with a probation order. She was held for a bail hearing.
