(Russell, ON) On February 26, 2014 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Trillium Crescent in Russell. It was reported that a female had been assaulted and was waiting outside the house until police arrived. OPP attended location and investigated the matter. The investigation revealed that a male had committed some criminal offences.
A 38 years old male from Russell will have to appear in L’Orignal court on March 12, 2014 to answer to the following charges:
CC 266 Assault – Spousal
CC 246(a) Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke, Suffocate or Strangle another Person
