(South Glengarry) – On October 29, 2014 at approximately 2:23pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 34, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a 39-year-old male and his common law spouse resulted in the male assaulting and threatening the female. Further information also revealed an argument has taken place while the couple travelled causing the vehicle to be driven in a dangerous manner.
The male was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault-Spousal
– Utter Threats-Spousal
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (October 30, 2014).
