(GOULAIS TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Sunday July 13, 2014 at approximately 3:30 am Sault Ste. Marie OPP were called to a residence in Goulais Township regarding a domestic assault.
It is alleged a female was physically assaulted by her spouse.
The female was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of OPP investigation, a thirty-one year old male was charged and arrested with two counts of Assault, one count of Forcible Confinement and one count of Assault Cause Bodily Harm.
The accused was held in custody pending bail court today at the Ontario Court of Justice, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
