(BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION, ON) – On September 10, 2014 Batchewana First Nation Police and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic disturbance on the Batchewana First Nation Territory.
As a result of police investigation a forty-nine year old male was arrested and charged with three counts of Breach of Probation and one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The female victim received non-life threatening injuries.
The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie, ON on September 10, 2014.
