(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On February 27, 2014 at approximately 12:16 p.m. members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a male causing a disturbance on James Street in the Town of Parry Sound.
Police received several 9-1-1 calls as a result of a male yelling and screaming and damaging a vehicle while the vehicle was parked on James Street. For that reason, a police investigation began. It was further revealed that this was of a domestic related nature.
A 22 year old male from Seguin Township was charged with the following:
– Mischief, Domestic – 2 counts, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
– Failing to comply with Probation Order – 3 counts, contrary to the CCC
– Causing a Disturbance, contrary to the CCC
The accused was held in custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound.
Names have not been released to protect the identity of the victim.
