The Barrie Police Service received a complaint from a man who was having an argument with his common-law wife. After police were contacted, the wife, who had been consuming alcohol, left in a vehicle. A short time later, officers located the 48 year old Barrie woman with the vehicle at a Barrie hotel. The female appeared extremely intoxicated and was arrested for Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle. Once at the Police Station, she provided two breath samples. Her two samples were over three times the legal limit. The woman was later released with a future court date for Impaired Care and Control and Over 80mgs charges.
