(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – A 74 year old man is charged with assault and careless storage of a firearm following a domestic related investigation.
On Thursday, November 21, 2013 at approximately 2:44 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an assault at a residence in the Municipality of Meaford. The 80 year old female victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries. A loaded firearm and ammunition was turned over to police during the investigation.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
