A 28 year old Barrie woman called Barrie Police Service to report that her husband was intoxicated and refusing the leave their home. While officers were responding, the husband left the house. Police located the man in the area. Officers saw that he had a bleeding swollen lip, scratches on his face and neck, as well as bite marks on both his arms. The man disclosed that he had just been assaulted by his wife, the original complainant. The woman was arrested, charged with Domestic Assault and held for a bail hearing. The victim did not require medical attention.
