Barrie Police were called to a Patterson Rd adress for a report of a mischief in progress.
The victim reported her ex boyfriend had come to her home and confronted her over their breakup.
The victim fled to her bedroom, locked the door and called Police. As she did so, the accused broke through the door and began yelling at the victim.
Realizing his girlfriend was on the phone with Police who were nearly on scene, the male ran from the residence but was quickly located by Barrie Police.
The 35 year old male was arrested for Mischief and forcible entry and during a search, a large quantity of marihuana was found in his possession.
The male was taken to the Barrie Police Service and is awaiting a bail hearing.
