(Russell, ON) On March 28, 2014 OPP Constables responded to a domestic incident on St-Catherine Road in Russell. At that location it was reported that a male and female were involved in an argument. The male was refusing to let the female leave in her vehicle. At one point some physical force was used towards the female. The OPP attended the location and investigated the complaint. As a result the officers concluded that some criminal offences were committed.
A 23 year old male, from Russell was arrested and his being held in custody. He will be appearing in front of a video bail hearing on April 4, 2014 to answer to the following charges:
CC 266 Assault – Spousal
CC 430(4) Mischief Under $ 5,000
CC 145(3) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
