Do You Recognize This Theft Suspect

(ST. MARYS, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment are requesting assistance from the public to identify a male involved in a theft occurrence in the Town of St. Marys on September 9, 2018.

The male suspect attended the West End Variety store on Queen Street East shortly before 10:00 p.m. A short conversation ensued between the suspect and an employee before the male ran from the store carrying a small quantity of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

Members of the public are asked to view a photo of the suspect, who is described as an approximately six foot tall Caucasian male with a scruffy goatee. The suspect can be seen wearing a black Blue Jays ball cap with a green brim, a black windbreaker-style jacket, gray pants, a black t-shirt, and a pair of white and black shoes. He was observed entering a black compact four door vehicle.
