(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local man and woman with several criminal offences. The charges stem from a disturbance at a residence located on Prospect Avenue in Kirkland Lake which eventually made its way outside the home. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of both accused. The incident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. on July 13, 2014.
Charged is Patrick RYAN age 23 of Kirkland Lake with Assault and Causing a Disturbance. Also charged is Lea THOMPSON age 24 of Kirkland Lake with Mischief Under $5,000, Causing a Disturbance and Breach of Recognizance. Both accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on August 28, 2014.
