(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local man for an impaired driving offence over the weekend.
On Saturday, November 12, 2016 shortly after midnight, police conducted a vehicle stop on a passenger car in the downtown area of the City of Kenora.
Upon further investigation, police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and after the he failed the roadside test, he was arrested and transported to the Kenora OPP detachment.
As a result of this investigation, 44 year old Derin LITKOWSKI of Kenora has been charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora Court on December 1, 2016 to answer to the charge.
