(LEAMINGTON, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington responded to a report of a male who was asleep in his vehicle on July 9, 2016 at approximately 2:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Talbot Street West in Leamington.
Officers attended the area and located the grey Jeep with the sole occupant and driver, a male who exhibited signs of impairment. He was arrested at the scene.
Dennis HICKS, age 52 of Kingsville was charged with Impaired Driving and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Leamington court on August 4, 2016.
The OPP would like to thank the public for their ongoing support for the community in alerting the police when a possible impaired driver is spotted. Thanks to phone calls from the public, officers have the ability to get these irresponsible drivers off the road.
