(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Monday August 26, 2013 at 2:20 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a backhoe vehicle that was said to have left the roadway and struck a hydro pole on Denfeild Road between Eight Mile and Nine Mile Road, Middlesex Centre. No injuries have been reported in this incident but the collision has caused damage to one hydro pole.
As a result police have closed Denfeild Road between Eight Mile and Nine Mile Road as Hydro One completes repairs and the backhoe is removed.
The roadway is expected to be closed for the next two hours.
