Death Investigation Update

(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 2, 2015 at approximately 9:10 a.m. members of Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a death investigation on Highway 19 near Road 64 in Zorra Township.

One person was found deceased at the scene with obvious signs of trauma. A second person with injuries was transported from the scene to a local hospital. The second person later succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The post mortems were conducted on June 3, 2015 at London Health Sciences Centre.

Due to the nature of relationship of both deceased parties the cause of death or their identities will not be released.

OPP would like to confirm that there is no risk to public safety and they are not seeking anyone else in regards to this incident.

The investigation remains under the direction of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) Detective Inspector Martin Graham.
