(Central Huron, ON) At approximately 6:30 pm on October 31, 2010 a two vehicle collision occurred on London Road north of Londesboro between a northbound Chevrolet and a southbound Buick. The northbound vehicle appears to have crossed the center line causing it to crash with the Buick head on.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, 20 year old Roman STURZENEGGER of Auburn, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant of his vehicle.
The driver of the southbound Buick, Heinrich EXEL (72) of Brussels was also pronounced dead at the scene. A 65 year old female passenger in the van was transported to the London Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries.
The road was closed until approximately 3:00 am on November 1st as OPP Technical Collision Investigators pieced together the puzzle.
The investigation remains ongoing.
