Daylight Break and Enter

(BRIGHTON, ON) On Saturday, September 28, 2013 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended to a call for service where a Brighton resident had his home broken into while attending the Applefest Celebration between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm.

Unknown person(s) entered into the residence through a rear window of the Georgina Street home and stole an Apple iPod, a Sony iPod personal audio docking station, a white iPhone 4S, $1,710 world currencies (including Canadian, UK, Swiss Franc, Dubai, and US funds – total converted to CDN dollar). The victim of the cash taken and iPhone 4S was visiting the home owner from Dubai.

OPP are continuing to investigate this occurrence

Anyone with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or the Brighton Detachment at 1-613-475-1313.
