(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 21, 2014 at approximately 4:32 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received driving complaints about a 1998 Chevrolet heading toward Fergus. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the male driver. Police believed that he was impaired by alcohol and made an arrested. He was transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
David SKILLING age 59 of Fergus has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 5, 2014 to answer to the charges.
