David Scott WOOD – Fraud X3

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Lynn Valley Road, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Monday, January 30, 2017 at approximately 3:14 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned resident reporting a fraud.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a Norfolk County resident had lost their debit card in the month on November of 2016. Between Friday, November 25, 2016 and Sunday, November 27, 2016, an unknown male attended the Scotiabank in Simcoe and made withdrawals from the financial account.

On Saturday, February 4, 2017 a male attended the Norfolk County detachment where he was taken into custody without incident.

Charged with three (3) counts of Fraud Under $5,000 and Theft Under $5,000 is 43-year-old David Scott WOOD of Norfolk County, Ontario.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
