(ORILLIA, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Anti-Rackets Branch and the West Region Criminal Operations North Support Team have laid eighty-five criminal charges against a Rostock area man in relation to a complex fraud investigation that began in December 2010 after it was discovered that he fraudulently used the credentials of a Registered Professional Engineer.
The OPP investigation revealed that between 2006 and 2010, the accused, the owner and sole employee of KTS Engineered Systems of Rostock Ontario performed work for which he was not certified.
David KEY, 46 years old of Rostock has been charged with:
Fraud Over $5,000 (6 counts)
Fraud Under $5,000 (12 counts)
Uttering a Forged Document (6 counts)
Forgery (61 counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on December 16, 2013.
