(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 57 year old male with Drinking and Driving offences after being stopped at a Rainham Road, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Friday November 21st, 2014 at approximately 7:30 pm Police received a call from a concerned citizen of a possible impaired driver leaving the town of Dunnville, Haldimand County. The citizen followed the suspect vehicle a black 2005 Pontiac until Police were able to locate it and stop it.
While the officer was speaking with the driver signs of impairment by alcohol was detected which resulted in his arrest.
Charged with Impaired Driving and Driving a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 57 year old Daryl STEVENS of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
