(ORILLIA, ON.) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has executed a search warrant in Severn Township.
On April 1, 2015 at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers from the Orillia OPP, Orillia OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU) and Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed search warrants at two properties on Uhthoff Line in Severn Township.
Police located a stolen John Deere tracked mini excavator stolen in 2013 from Severn Township and a Weberlane dump trailer stolen in 2012 from Oro-Medonte Township.
Dale BEERS, 48 years old of Severn Township, has been arrested and charged with two counts of Theft over $5000, two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fraud over $5000 and Altering/Destroying Vehicle Identification Number.
He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia court on April 28, 2015.
