On April 26, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Bennett Street and Lane Street for an injured cyclist call. Investigation determined that a 52-year-old Guelph man was travelling on his bicycle northbound on Bennett Street when he lost control of his bicycle and suffered a fall. The male was transported to Hamilton General Hospital suffering serious head trauma.
